Unboxing Anne of Green Gables x Ullala Pajamas

Last month, I wrote a post about the new Anne of Green Gables x Ullala Pajamas collaboration for Fall/Winter 2025. The clothing line is inspired by Nippon Animation's Anne of Green Gables.

I was tempted to order "Anne's Rain Shower" pajamas. They arrived a few weeks back. I took a few photos while unboxing them because the packaging was so cute. The pajamas themselves are well-made and adorably feminine.



I especially love the dreamy Anne Shirley on the back of the neck.



I imagine I'll only have sweet dreams in these pajamas.

Anne of Green Gables x Ullala Pajamas 2025 Fall/Winter Collection

The South Korea clothing brand Ullala Pajamas has a new Anne of Green Gables clothing line out for Fall/Winter 2025. It's inspired by Nippon Animation's Anne of Green Gables. Ullala creates old-fashioned, girlish chemises, nightgowns, and pajama sets that have a romantic, cottagecore aesthetic. Their "Letters from Avonlea" collection is "inspired by the gentle rhythm of Anne’s days—soft as early snow, warm as afternoon tea, and wistful as a forgotten melody."

Ullala Pajamas goes on to prettily describe their Anne of Green Gables clothing line, saying:

Every day, Anne wanders between fields and forests—
where she is met with sudden showers, pinecones that fall as autumn deepens,
smooth pebbles shaped by the stream, the final unnamed flower buds that bloom before winter, and the red camellias that mark its end.
She quietly observes nature's untamed rhythms and cycles, often falling into thoughtful reflection.
As she ponders the stories and meanings people have given to flowers, her inner world grows stronger—more beautiful, more resilient.

Anne of Green Gables Paper Doll Book

Check out this wonderful Anne of Green Gables Paper Doll Book by Eileen Rudisill Miller that was published by Paper Studio Press in 2014. Miller is an illustrator and painter. You can visit her website and Etsy store to see more of her paper doll books, coloring books, and artwork.

The Anne of Green Gables Paper Doll Book includes two dressable figures: Anne Shirley and Anne's bosom friend, Diana Barry. The figures are 10 inches tall and include stands.


You can dress Anne Shirley and Diana Barry in 16 outfits from L.M. Montgomery's story, including several displayed below. The outfits include Anne and Diana's school clothes, play clothes, and dresses worn when picking flowers in Lover’s Lane. There's also Anne's first dress with puffed sleeves and the gowns Anne and Diana wore when visiting Miss Josephine Barry. Additionally, the book includes Anne and Diana's outfits for the recital at the White Sands Hotel (Anne wears the pearls Matthew gave her), their clothes worn when Anne left for Queen’s College, and dresses worn when Anne returned home to teach in Avonlea.

Anne of Green Gables Inspired Clothing in Simple Retro's 2022 Fall Winter Line

I came across this clothing store called Simple Retro a couple weeks ago while searching for Anne of Green Gables-style blouses and outfits. The shop features feminine, vintage-inspired, everyday retro clothing. Simple Retro has a base in NYC, and their clothing is made in China and mainly shipped around the world from there.

Soon after I found Simple Retro, they featured an Anne of Green Gables-inspired fall winter line for 2022. It seemed so serendipitous that I found the store when I did!

L.M. Montgomery Quote in Boden's October 2022 Catalog

This October morning, I turned the key of my mailbox and found a treat inside—a catalog from Boden, the British clothing store. I peaked inside, and on the first page was the following quote from Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery.

"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers"

Seeing the quote made me smile. Way to win the heart (and maybe wallet) of this Anne of Green Gables fan, Boden!

I found this pretty Anne of Green Gables tote bag today by the brand Universal Zone at Amazon. I love the simple drawing of Anne. They sell literary tote bags with several other bookish designs too, including ones for Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, and Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.

I came across this pretty and cozy Anne of Green Gables fleece sweatshirt today. It’s by Out of Print, a company that sells wonderful book-themed products based on literary classics. Out of Print’s mission is to spread the joy of reading, and each purchase helps to fund literacy programs and book donations to communities in need.

Anne of Green Gables Hairstyle Tutorial by Loepsie

I wanted to share a wonderful tutorial video showing how to replicate Anne Shirley's hairstyle and makeup in Anne of Green Gables by Loepsie. It's part of Loepsie's Beauty Beacons of Fiction series on YouTube. Along with providing great hairstyle tutorials, her website includes posts on historical fashion and beauty, sewing historical costumes, and more.

Anne of Green Gables x Ullala Pajamas Special Collaboration

I came across this fun collaboration between Nippon Animation's Anne of Green Gables with Ullala Pajamas. Ullala Pajamas makes old-fashioned, girlish chemises, night dresses, and pajama sets, and they designed a special set of clothes inspired by Anne of Green Gables.

I love all the product shots. Don't you?

They also remind me of the outfits from Dickinson, the Apple TV+ streaming series on Emily Dickinson starring Hailee Steinfeld. I love the fashion from the Dickinson time period too.
